Cancer is too common in central Pennsylvania. Colorectal cancer, the second most common cancer in central Pennsylvania, can be prevented completely through routine colonoscopy. Mammography is the best way to find breast cancer early when it can be treated more easily…yet, the rate of mammography in central Pennsylvania is below national goals.
The Penn State Cancer Institute (PSCI) is working to better understand the cancer problem in central Pennsylvania. PSCI aims to to identify strategies that can help the community avoid cancer, and if cancer does occur, to beat it!
How YOU can help…
You can complete this survey if you are at least 18 years of age living in central Pennsylvania. The survey will ask you to describe your cancer-related risks and health care and will only take 10-15 minutes to complete!
